Llandudno 19 v Bala 31

Early pressure by the visitors after eight minutes of play, that from a driving
line out Garin Davies touched down for an unconverted try,and they continued to
press to increase there score line with a unconverted try by Rhydian Jones.Llan
now composed themselves when Dave Davies made a telling tackle on his opposite
number, and from the ruck the ball was quickly released along the back division
with a try by winger Hugh Griffith with two more points from the conversion by
Ryan Pike, leaving Llan behind at half time by just three points. The start of
the second half of play saw  Llan miss a number of try scoring opportunities
when camped on the visitors try line,by not allowing the ball to be passed to
support players, and this proved to be costly as it allowed the opposition to
gain ground and increase there lead with a try by Ilan Rowlands which Rhydian
Jones converted.Bala continued to keep Llan within there own half, and were
awarded a penalty try after a number of infringements.Llan finished the
stronger taking the game well inside of the Bala half, scoring two tries by Hugh
Griffith and Toby Roberts one of which Ryan Pike converted,in a match they
could have won on reflection. Match report by Howie. Next Saturdayaway at Mold
KO 2.30.
